“I don’t think I’ve ever been as scared in my life as I was to be extraordinarily honest with my kids.”

In Bruce Jenner's interview with ABC News's Diane Sawyer last month, the former Olympian came out as transgender. "I am a woman," Jenner told Sawyer.
Jenner, 65, has now been in the public eye for 40 years, first as a gold medal winner during the 1976 Olympics in Montreal, and in more recent years as the husband of Kris Jenner, the stepparent of the Kardashians, and the parent of Kylie and Kendall Jenner. Jenner's very public transition — which had been visibly happening, speculated on, and gossiped about for more than a year before Jenner spoke about it — marks a significant milestone for trans people. Never has such a famous person transitioned before.
E! will air a still untitled docuseries following Jenner's journey that will premiere on July 26, but first, the network's Keeping Up With the Kardashians is airing a two-part special called Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce on May 17 and May 18. From the first look at the broadcast, below, it appears that all of the Kardashian-Jenners will be featured.
"We want to understand his struggle," says what sounds like Kim Kardashian in voiceover. Another voice, which sounds like Kendall, says through tears, "I just don't like when people say that Bruce is going to be gone."
And Bruce says, "I don't think I've ever been as scared in my life as I was to be extraordinarily honest with my kids."
