Recently Ellie Goulding uploaded an Instagram that pictured her with friends including Lorde and Katy Perry. She deleted the photo quickly after it went up, which left most of us wondering...WHY?!?!?
This isn't the picture uploaded. This is just a photo of the three of them from a year ago to prove they are friends.

Some believed it was deleted because it potentially violated the alliance she has with Taylor Swift, who is in a cold war with Katy Perry ("Bad Blood" anyone?).
"Ohh. No, I deleted that because I looked bad in it. And I think I was a bit drunk and it wasn't a good example of myself. That's so funny that that's even a thing. I delete things all the time."
"I'm very used to things being made up. That's riduculous. I'm great friends with Katy. I'm great friends with Taylor. That's very silly. No I just looked terrible in it. I zoomed in on my actual photo and went, 'noo'... I was a bit drunk I admit."
