Kim Richards, one of the stars of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, pled not guilty Monday to a petty theft charge after allegedly being caught by Target security in Los Angeles with $600 worth of goods.

After pleading not guilty, Richards posted $5,000 bail, having spent the night in jail.

She is due back in court on July 20 for a pretrial hearing, Los Angeles City Attorney spokesperson Frank Mateljan told BuzzFeed News.

Richards was placed under citizen’s arrest by Target Loss Prevention personnel on Sunday around 4:25 p.m. PT, according to LAPD Officer Drake Madison.

Madision told BuzzFeed News that Richards entered a Target at 5700 Sepulveda Blvd in Van Nuys, allegedly removing several items totaling around $600.

After Target Loss prevention officers made the initial citizen’s arrest, LAPD officers arrived to take Richards into custody.

If found guilty of the petty theft charge, Richards could face the maximum penalty of six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.

This is not Richards' only ongoing criminal case this summer: She plead not guilty on June 11 to three misdemeanor charges – resisting arrest, public intoxication, and battery on an officer – after she refused to leave the Beverly Hills Hotel in April. Richards has been ordered to appear at the next hearing in that case, which is set for Aug. 31.

Richards' attorney Richard Shapiro did not immediately respond to a request for comment from BuzzFeed News.
