“The world will be full of fear,” the hacker said. “We recommend you to keep yourself distant.”

In a message on filesharing services containing links to the latest cache of hacked documents, the "Guardians of Peace," the group claiming to be behind the devastating hacks of Sony Pictures Entertainment, threatened the premiere of the The Interview and theaters where it will be shown, saying "We will clearly show it to you at the very time and places "The Interview" be shown, including the premiere, how bitter fate those who seek fun in terror should be doomed to."

The "GOP" also said that "Soon all the world will see what an awful movie Sony Pictures Entertainment has made. The world will be full of fear." and "We recommend you to keep yourself distant from the places at that time."

"Remember the 11th of September 2001," the group said int he message.

This is not the first time a group claiming to be behind the hacks have threatened Sony. In a message sent to some Sony employees last week, a group claiming to be the hackers, said "your family will be in danger" to Sony employees unless they denounced the company. A Sony spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Warning

We will clearly show it to you at the very time and places "The Interview" be shown, including the premiere, how bitter fate those who seek fun in terror should be doomed to.

Soon all the world will see what an awful movie Sony Pictures Entertainment has made.

The world will be full of fear.

Remember the 11th of September 2001.

We recommend you to keep yourself distant from the places at that time.

(If your house is nearby, you'd better leave.)

Whatever comes in the coming days is called by the greed of Sony Pictures Entertainment.

All the world will denounce the SONY.
