After a tumultuous Season 3 and an uneven start to its current fourth season, the Showtime drama has started to return to its roots, thanks to an even CRAZIER Carrie. WARNING: Spoilers ahead if you have not seen the Nov. 9 episode.

Homeland Season 4 begins with Carrie (Claire Danes) authorizing a drone strike in Pakistan.

Sandy Bachman (Corey Stoll), the CIA station chief in Pakistan, gives Carrie intel about the whereabouts of Haissam Haqqani (Numan Acar), a terrorist extremely high on the U.S. kill list. But the drone strike instead bombs a home where a wedding is taking place, killing many women and children.
