She’s having a strong 2015.
Two huge fandoms are colliding.
The BBC has announced that Maisie Williams, internationally known for her role as Arya Stark in Game of Thrones, will guest star in the next series of Doctor Who, which is due in the autumn. She is of course already known internationally for her role in Arya Stark in Game of Thrones.
In a statement the actress said;
“I'm so excited to be working on Doctor Who as it’s such a big and important part of British culture. I can’t wait to meet the cast and crew and start filming, especially as we’ll be shooting not too far from my home town.” Steven Moffat, the showrunner of Doctor Who, said in a statement that "It’s not possible to say too much about who or what she’s playing".
Williams has been branching out Game of Thrones. Earlier this year she appeared in the critically acclaimed Channel 4 drama Cyberbully, and she's recently appeared in two films, Gold and The Falling, which is being released in the UK on the 24th April.
