ABC adds dramas from Shonda Rhimes, 12 Years A Slave’s John Ridley, American Hustle ‘s David O. Russell, Josh Schwartz ( Gossip Girl ), and others.
ABC is once again betting heavily on drama additions to the network's schedule, with new projects heading to ABC this fall from Shonda Rhimes, Steven Spielberg, Josh Schwartz, David O. Russell and Susannah Grant, among others and a Ryan Phillippe/Juliette Lewis murder mystery from Private Practice writer Barbara Kligman that is based on an Australian format.
The network also renewed Castle, The Goldbergs, Grey's Anatomy, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Once Upon a Time Resurrection, Revenge, and Scandal for next season.
The broadcast networks officially present their 2014-2015 schedules to advertisers beginning May 12.

How To Get Away With Murder
Who's in it? Viola Davis, Katie Findlay (The Carrie Diaries), Matt McGorry (Orange Is the New Black), and Liza Weil (Scandal).
Who created it? Shonda Rhimes (Scandal) and Betsy Beers
What's it about? A brilliant professor gets entangled with four law students from her class, who are attempting to cover up a killing. Little do they know that they will have to apply what they learned in her class to real life.

Who created it? John Ridley (12 Years A Slave)
What's it about? The news outlets are swarming the story of a brutal attack of a young couple in their home; the husband was killed while his wife remains unconscious. Both sets of parents are at her bedside hoping for a miracle, while four suspects are about to be arrested. The case sends shock waves into the community, stirring up tensions across racial lines.

Who's in it? Lily Rabe (American Horror Story), Barry Sloane (Revenge), and Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes)
Who created it? Steven Speilberg and Soo Hugh (Under the Dome)
What's it about? An alien invasion begins with our children. As the kids unwittingly help these unseen enemies, the clock counts down in a race to save humanity.
