Williamson’s Stalker , Matthew Perry’s The Odd Couple , and Madam Secretary will be a part of CBS’ 2014-2015 season. They join the network’s already-announced, Josh Duhamel-led Battle Creek , from Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan.
CBS will move ahead with another NCIS spinoff, NCIS: New Orleans, a psychological thriller from Kevin Williamson, a drama about a network of super-geniuses starring Katharine McPhee, and the Tea Leoni and Bebe Neuwirth-led Madam Secretary, about the life of a female secretary of state. On the comedy side, the network has ordered The McCarthys and the Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon two-hander, The Odd Couple, an update of the classic Neal Simon play.
CBS had previously ordered Josh Duhamel-led detective drama Battle Creek to series, which pairs Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan with House's David Shore.
The broadcast networks officially present their 2014-2015 schedules to advertisers beginning May 12.
Here are CBS' new shows so far:
NCIS: New Orleans
Who's in it? Scott Bakula (Looking), Zoe McLellan (JAG), CCH Pounder (The Shield), Lucas Black, Paige Turco
Who created it? Gary Glasberg (NCIS), who will executive produce with Mark Harmon
What's it about? It's pretty much like NCIS, but this spinoff will instead follow the personnel at the New Orleans office, who handle cases across the lower southeast of the United States. It will delve into the NOLA scene, which attracts many military officers on leave. So... more cases, new scenery.
CBS
Stalker
Who's it in? Maggie Q (Nikita), Dylan McDermott (Hostages), Marian Klaveno, Victor Rasuk
Who created it? Kevin Williamson (The Following)
What's it about? This taut psychological thriller follows a detective duo with the Threat Management Unit of the LAPD tasked with investigating incidents of stalking. One can only hope that these stalkers don't employ Edgar Allen Poe masks during their crimes. (Shudder.)

Who created it? Nick Santora (Prison Break), who executive produces with Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Heather Kadin, Justin Lin, Scooter Braun, and Walter O'Brien (on whose life the show is based)
What's it about? This drama centers on an unusual genius — who has the the fourth highest documented IQ in the world — and the team of international super-brains that he assembles, each of whom are sworn to defend against complex and unexpected threats... and help each other feel a sense of belonging when their very intellect sets them apart from society.
