Since August 2014, rumors of a Full House spinoff show have been swirling. And on Monday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, John Stamos finally confirmed that the new show is happening.
Netflix has ordered 13 episodes of the spinoff that will follow D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure), who now has three sons, and Kimmy (Andrea Barber). The first episode will be an hour-long Tanner family reunion and Stamos told Kimmel they're trying to bring back as many original cast members as possible.
Earlier this month, TV Line reported that Netflix was very close to closing a deal for the reboot. And just last week, Bob Saget said on The View that "people are talking to each other" about a revival. "It'd be nice for the older kids on [Full House] that are women now to do [a show] if they wanted to do it," Saget said.
